Students of Nature offer custom made trips to South Africa to further our learner’s nature education. We create a ‘working holiday’ for our learners, where they will study to complete a range of wildlife courses to gain industry recognised qualifications, that will ultimately greatly enhance their curriculum vitae.

Trained South African nature guides and specialist guest lecturers will teach our Students of Nature about a wide range of wildlife related topics and specialist subjects, giving them a comprehensive education in African ecology and conservation. With a large amount of exciting wildlife safari’s thrown in there too!

I believe anyone can become a student of nature. Nature is constantly teaching us, and all we have to do is take the time to look a little bit closer, and you will be rewarded by gaining a brief glimpse into its secrets. I believe that studying nature and becoming a Student of Nature, is not only a lifestyle, but also a lifelong love affair.

Students of Nature as a name and a concept, came about due to the fact that I have always strongly believed in “conservation through education”, in getting our learners back in touch with nature, by disconnecting from everyday life and for them to come away from Africa with a newfound appreciation for the natural world, in all its dazzling shapes and sizes.

This is my ultimate aim in creating my company Students of Nature.

Students of Nature is a new venture for me and I hope that you enjoy experiencing my trips, as much as I take pleasure in designing your next adventures.

Happy trails,

Josie Easton
