It is essential that you come prepared. So, we've taken the headache out of deciding what to bring with these handy tour equipment lists.

Simply find your tour, each tour is covered so that all you have to do is make sure you follow your gear guide!

Terrestrial & Wilderness Experience Tours:

Main gear:
• Large main rucksack or large soft wheeled case (for travel)
• Sleeping bag & liner (for bush sleep outs)
• Small day rucksack (ideally with bladder water bag storage)
• (X2) 2.5L - 3L bladder water bags for bush walks (1 spare in case 1 breaks)
• Big water bottle (as well as, or if no bladder bags)
• Head torch / torch (no wind-up torches!)
• Battery travel alarm clock or use a watch (save phone battery)
• Wash stuff: hairbrush, toothbrush / paste (limited facilities - no hair gel or products, hairdryer or hair straighteners)
• Shampoo & conditioner - good alternative: all in one clothes / body & hair wash (available from most camping stores)
• Sun cream (at least factor 20+)
• South African plug adaptors to fit home devices

Neutral Coloured Clothing: (browns, greens, greys, stone colours)
No black, white or bright colours or designs.

Marine Experience Tours: (Diver & Non-Diver)

Personal Medication:
• Own personal medication / EpiPen etc (Doctors notes are needed in most cases to take own medication on flights & overseas. Some medicines are even prohibited in certain countries.)
• Antihistamine cream – insect bite cream
• Insect repellent - important against ticks & other biting insects
• Malarial tablets (optional, low risk malaria area - always check with your nurse)
